Looks like things are finally turning up for Farhan-Ritesh’s upcoming flick ‘Crooked‘.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who was supposed to play the protogonist in the film, has finally opted out from the cast because of her date issues and a newcomer Sarah Jane has been finalised to play the same.

Initially, the film ‘Crooked‘ casted the miya-biwi Abhishek Bachchan and his second half Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to play the lead opposite each other. However, Aishwarya opted out later because of her dates issue. After her exit was confirmed, Farhan Akhtar decided to go on with a new face for the vaccant plot to be cast opposite Bachchan.

If reports are to be believed, Sarah Jane, the former Miss India (2007) has been confirmed to step into the role that was earlier going to be played by the Bachchan bahu.

Meanwhile, Aishwarya is busy with her shoot for films – ‘Ravana‘, ‘Robot‘ and ‘guzarish‘
