“I’m a normal girl. I do believe in the institution of marriage. It’ll be a joyous occasion for me and one I’d like to share with everyone,” Ms Rai said at the Toronto world premiere of the pair’s newest film Guru(or Boss) late last week.

“We are here not just for the awards but to enjoy the performances and be a part of Bollywood’s biggest celebration,” Aishwarya said.

“We’ll cross the bridge when we reach it,” Rai told the CBS network’s 60 Minutes program in an interview to be broadcast on Sunday.

“He (Abhishek) is a darling and I am very happy for him and entire team’s effort. So looking forward to Drona and you (the media) do your job and invite the audience to watch the film,” said Aishwarya.

“In fact, maximum of my films have enjoyed the music of Rahman and as a music lover and fan, I have always admired his music and he is a gifted musician,” Rai said, while addressing a press conference in Kolkata.
